Ficklets: Eyewear Charm Huggers Review & Giveaway

Amber has been wearing glasses since she was 3 years old! We use her glasses as an accessory just like a necklace or earrings. However, since glasses are expensive and little girls get bored so easily we have found a way to change things up on her glasses with Ficklets! I am even thinking about getting some for my sunglasses!
Sometimes when someone has a brilliant idea that really takes off it is referred to as a "kitchen table idea" Ros (the genius behind Ficklets) calls Ficklets her "couch potato idea" because she was literally sitting on the couch when she had her stroke of genius! She looked at her daughter, Gem, and thought "Wow, we need to add some color and life to your tired, old glasses." You can read more about the background of ficklets HERE!
Ficklets are Charms that hug the arm of your glasses! What an genius invention right? There are several styles to choose from and they are very reasonably priced! Amber gets to review 2 styles for you! She chose the Purple Sparkle Stars and the Silver-Turquoise Hearts! Here's how they work:

The Backside:

Here are Amber's Ficklets:

I love the fact that Amber can change the style of her glasses to go with her outfit! Perhaps she will stop asking if she can dye her hair now. Perhaps not. To be quite honest I am jealous that I don't wear glasses! There are even styles that would be great for adults! Animals, dice flip flops, shapes, lips, cupcakes, Breast Cancer Awareness, jack-o-lanterns, snowflakes, A vast selection!!!

My experience (and Amber's):
Once we read the directions they were easy to get attached to her glasses and after changing them a few times, Amber is a pro! They look adorable! The only thing that I found an issue with is unavoidable. The elastic bands get stretched out. I haven't had an issue yet but I can see that the elastic is losing its hold on her frames. This is not a big deal because you can buy replacement elastics right on the website!

  1. I agree Anne! When I saw these I thought "genius"! Where were these when I was a kid, LOL! I hated my glasses. Then I grew out of them. Good luck Anne!
