We are doing more to try to be green around here. One thing we have been looking at is natural household cleaning products, and I am excited to share with you one of them with you. Natural House cleaning products uses non-toxic probiotics to clean and deodorize your home. Because the probiotics create their own "mini eco system" the enzymes they create keep breaking down waste. So the probiotics keep cleaning for you after you stop!
Here's a video explaining how it works:
I received a 30 day supply of the first 3 products in the line
Trashy is a cleaning spray that is used for cleaning out odors and grime from trash cans and is especially great for DIAPER PAILS. (I actually used it on my countertops too)Flushy is a foaming pouch that cleans your toilet bowl and train as well as a septic treatment! It cuts through hard water stains and calcium deposits and the probiotics eat away at the paper and waste build up in your pipes and drain.
Sinky is a foaming pouch that is used to clean and deodorize your kitchen sink and garbage disposal. This convenient pouch breaks down grease and food particles which prevents clogged drains.
What did I think?
I love the natural smell of these cleaners. Trashy and Flushy are minty, Sinky is citrus scented. My trash can stayed fresh smelling for a few days after cleaning it with Trashy. When I cleaned the toilet in Amber's bathroom the whole room smelled minty fresh for a while. I know that some people think when they smell bleach or pine that it means clean. To me those smells mean harsh chemicals that can harm my kids and pets. How well did it work?
- Trashy worked very well on my trash cans. It also worked well on my coutertops. I was in a pinch and ran out of my normal cleaning spray so I grabbed the next spray bottle under the sink.
- Sinky: The first time I wasn't too sure how well it worked. I put the pouch, which is similar to a dishwasher detergent pouch, into the garbage disposal and ran the water but because the pouch was inside the drain I couldn't see if it was foaming. But the next time I tried it I made sure to have some water in the drain part of the sink so it would foam up better. This was a big help, the pouch foamed and smelled great!
- Flushy was awesome! I put the pouch in the toilet. Just plopped it in there and watched! Amber and I stood there staring at the toilet... As the pouch dissolved it released the blue cleaner which immediately started foaming. It ate away most of the staining on the bowl! When we bought this house that toilet was very stained! It is now cleaner than when we moved in!

ReplyDeleteDefinitely Flushy. I tried Mrs. Meyers toilet bowl cleaner recently and it was worthless. I really want to stay green when cleaning the toilet because those chemicals go right back into our water system.

ReplyDeleteI'd love to try the trashy, anything that lowers stink and possibly lowers the dogs' interest in the trash is a good thing in my book
