Manic Mommy Monday ~ When Mommy is Sick

It's Monday... Last night I left work early to come home and rest my throat. I think I'm getting a sinus infection. yuck!
This is what usually happens when Mom gets sick:

• The house is struck by a menacing group of trolls that put all the toys on the floor. I know this because I'm told they are called "Itwasntme" 
• We get a brand new chef who cooks things in my kitchen that I didn't even know we had! This chef is 11 years old. 
• The dishwasher goes on vacation.
• Mommy tries to nap... unsuccessfully every time.

So far this is my "sickness" experience:

• I left work early and came home. Hubby made me a late dinner that was delicious!
• Charlotte decided to wake up a couple times in the middle of the night, I was able to cuddle her back to sleep and go to bed myself. Usually when she does this it is nearly impossible to get her back to bed...
• I woke up and took Amber to school... EARLY. (with my box of tissues in tow)
• I'm writing this blog post!! 

So far not a bad one... What usually happens when you get sick? Does someone pamper you are are you avoided like the plague?
